MORE ABOUT
PAM/PUMA BIO/VERSE SS24
“I seem, like everything else, to be a center, a sort of vortex, at which the whole energy of the universe realizes itself.. Each one of us, not only human beings but every leaf, every weed, exists in the way it does, only because everything else around it does. The individual and the universe are inseparable.”
Alan Watts (1915-1973)
Awakening to a memory, two parallel Tohjis connect for one brief instant in the BIO/VERSE.
Although they were never-not-connected, a moment of pure existence occurs, slipping between the physical, meta, microcosmic and back.
Shot on location in Tokyo and The Moss Forest, Tohji’s epiphany is captured by photographer Idan Barazani, with breathtaking CGI environments by media artist Matea Friend and an acute soundtrack by LOWJACK.

IMPACT COMMITMENT
This season, the BIO/VERSE is supporting The Black Mambas: a progressive and unique, all female anti-poaching unit who are working to protect the most critical areas within Greater Kruger, one of South Africa’s most diverse biospheres.
The Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Unit was founded in 2013 by Transfrontier Africa NPC. Currently the team of 36 is patrolling 20,000 hectares of the protected area and are planning to expand their area of operations further.
With a passion for wildlife and rhino conservation, these women are also the voice in the community. The objectives of the Black Mamba project not only include on the ground protection of wildlife, but also being role models at home.
These 36 young rangers and Environmental Monitors want their communities to understand that the benefits of rhino conservation are greater than those of poaching, addressing the social and moral decay that is a product of poaching culture.
