From Amalfi but growing up in Nothern Italy, Simona Citarella has been designing shoes for more than twenty years.

Founding Simona Vanth in 2011, she likes to create a new “shoe-sculpture-object” per season.

All shoes are made in Italy in very limited production, often with unusual suppliers and artisans met on her travels.

“I’m slowly realizing that Simona Vanth is more of an art project than a shoe brand. It is a moment for me to express my personal universe of inspirations which are usually very romantic and poetic […] and combine them with a very contemporary wearability and subjectivity.” — Simona Citarella

The ‘Brushed Taupe’ colour way also have etchings designed by MEZ @mezafram, LA based artist and tattooist.
