Australian Wildlife Conservancy Reintroduction Program
This season, the BIO/VERSE is supporting one of the most ambitious rewilding programs ever ventured in Australia.
To aid 70 mammal species currently at risk, a portion of the BIO/VERSE marketing budget has been donated to the Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) Reintroduction Program.
As a global conservation leader, AWC’s rewilding program has seen the restoration of 22 species, with more than 40 populations reintroduced across ten AWC sanctuaries.
These reintroductions are delivering incredible outcomes for some of Australia's unique and loveable species, such as…
Golden bandicoot
Chuditch (western quoll)
Central rock rat
Eastern pygmy possum
Red-tailed Phascogale
Numbat
Brown antechinus
Western barred bandicoot
Burrowing bettong
Bridled Nailtail Wallaby
Plains mouse
Northern bettong
