HORFEE - BUZZARD CONTROL by ANTWAN HORFEE

Artist Antwan Horfee Reveals the Graphic Glory (and Therapeutic Facet) of QSL Cards.

In Buzzard Control, French artist Antwan Horfee shares one of the liveliest subsets of printed ephemera ever created: the QSL card.

Devised in the early 20th century as written affirmation of radio transmission, the QSL card evolved from a basic format to reflect a dizzying array of designs. Horfee’s col- lection highlights the graphic glory of the cards and digs into his unique collector mindset.

With that in mind, Buzzard Control presents both an incomplete visual history of QSL cards and a selection of graphic ephemera which, as for Horfee, can arrest motion and put imagination back on track.
