A new collaboration between P.A.M. and ADISH finds passage between old and new, wholly. Utilising archive P.A.M. pieces, ADISH applies its marked thread work to stitch tactile connections from afar.
P.A.M.’s multidisciplinary approach to collaboration, coupled with the ethos of ADISH to merge the cultural heritage and handcrafts of the Middle East with contemporary silhouettes, breathes fresh adaptation into a collection that decidedly preserves the good things that already exist. Previous collection pieces from P.A.M. are renewed with hand-sewn Palestinian embroidery and traditional Bedouin weaving.
Shot separately in local markets between Melbourne (Sarah Pannell), Tel-Aviv (Dafy Hagai) and New York (Emma Kohlmann and ADISH co-founder Jordan Nassar), the habitual bond of life and fresh produce becomes its own full circle ceremony.
